How To Apply Mineral Foundation

Apply the Natural Oil Primer and use either the domed kabuki brush or our new favorite Buffer Brush to apply the loose powder. Firstly tap a small amount into the lid then swirl the brush into the loose powder and then tap away the excess before applying it to your face. If you need more foundation in the lid, feel free to add more as needed. Once you have the minerals on the brush, start at your nose of and apply the mineral makeup using a stroking motion with the idea of turning the powder into a natural liquid on the skin. You should reapply the mineral powder to your brush 1-2 times while using either brush. Next you will be adding colour to your face by using a blush, a warming colour or bronzer, or both a blush and a warming colour or bronzer. Begin by shaking the mineral powder into the appropriate lids. If you are applying a blush, then begin by grabbing the wholesale mineral makeup blush brush. Lightly dip the brush into the mineral powder on the lid, swirl slightly, and tap off any excess. Next place the brush on your cheek area where the middle of your eye sits. On most people this is approximately where the apples of your cheeks are. To verify, smile slightly to see which area of your cheek raises up and outwards. Sweep the brush over your cheek area, not going past the outer corner of your eyes. You don't want to make clown-like circles or racing stripes, so be sure to blend the colour and be somewhat light-handed in the application process. Remember, it's much easier to add than to take away. Whether you choose to use a warming colour or a bronzer alone or with a blush colour, you will be applying it in the same fashion. Just as in Step 7, you will be using the blush brush. First begin by wiping the brush clean with a dry towel or paper towel. Next, lightly dip the brush into the mineral powder, swirl slightly, and tap off the excess. Now lightly apply the colour across your cheeks and up your temples, very lightly down the centre of your nose, on your chin, over your forehead and very lightly on your ears. Most of the time when a bronzer or warming colour is applied the ears get missed and it tends to give you an incomplete look. Finally, gently sweep the brush downward from your jaw down your neck, in order to give you a more natural look. The final step of mineral makeup is the finishing veil powder. Shake a small amount into the lid, take the Kabuki brush, swirl it in the powder, and then tap off the excess. Finishing veil powder can be used where ever you would like, in order to finish your mineral makeup application. Begin by lightly sweeping over your nose and cheek area, chin, and forehead. Finish by closing you eyes and lightly sweeping it over you lids. Once you have applied the mineral veil powder, you mineral makeup is complete. Feel free to apply eye shadow as well, but if you are going for a minimal and more natural look, use a neutral eye shadow.

How To Apply Concealer

Begin by gently shaking a little bit of foundation into the lid. If you have more than one foundation, in order to get the correct tone for your skin, simply shake all foundations into one lid. This will make both mixing and cleanup easier.

How To Apply Eyeshadow

Take your wholesale mineral makeup large shadow brush and very gently mix the foundation in the lid by using a swirling motion. You will notice there is a significant amount of mineral powder on the brush. Do not automatically apply the minerals to your face, instead gently tap the excess from the brush first. Use the wholesale mineral makeup large shadow brush on the areas where you need a little extra coverage. Apply the mineral foundation under and around your eye area, on blemishes and dark spots, and around the base of your nose area (where your nostrils are). Use smooth and even strokes when using the large shadow brush, so you get a more even finish. Once you have concealed any problem areas set your large shadow brush to the side. You may need it later for small touch-ups. Now you can take the all-purpose brush and begin applying the foundation to the rest of your face.
Shake the pot of Mineral Eye Shadow to release the powder onto the lid. Gently wipe your Sable Eye Shadow Brush into the powder in the lid of the pot. Gently press into the eyelid. Please note that wiping the shadow across the eye lid is not as effective as pressing into the skin as the shadows will smear and lift from your skin. Add water to your brush and mix with your eye shadow to create an effect called FOILING. This technique turns your powder eye shadow into an intense metallic cream shadow which is applied with a sweeping effect. Blend, mix and layer however you desire!
